I received a card in the mail asking for my support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It told me if I would help raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society they would train me to run a marathon with their program called Team in Training! I decided to take this on as a challenge of a lifetime & I’m taking it personal!
That’s right…26.2 miles! Am I crazy? Maybe. But that’s beside the point! I made a personal commitment to use my good health to help others who are not as fortunate. I even decided to drag Steve along and we are going to run this marathon together. As a result, if everything goes as planned, Steve and I will fly to Orlando, Florida in January of 2003 and run in the Walt Disney World Marathon. 
Steve and I will be provided with a coach, a training regimen, a nutritional advisor, and a great group of people with common goals and lots support. We will provide the daily training, sore muscles, lots of sweat and dedication if you can help with the fund raising.
We are required to raise $4,000.00 to be eligible for the race and are asking for your help. Please know that your contribution will make a difference in many lives.
We have developed 4 levels of involvement and pray that you will help us.

- We really don’t know you or Steve that well, but here is $50.00 just so that you don’t bug us again.
